Standard Instagram of a Starbucks drink ✔
This afternoon, my awesome dad took me downtown to buy my first DSLR but on the way to the store, we forgot the address and my phone doesn’t have internet so I awkwardly walked into the first Starbucks we could find to use their wi-fi. Cool story, y/y?
(Oh and btw, it’s a green tea frappe. It’s pretty much my go-to drink whenever I’m at Starbucks but I’m getting kind of tired of it…)

The Wednesday night dinner that Mia ruined:
See, there’s a story behind this tray of dumplings. My mom’s been out of the country for over a week and my dad’s been down with the flu (and I can’t cook at all, as you will soon see). His friends from church have been super kind, and a few days ago one of them made a whole tray of dumplings for us as a surprise. Unfortunately, we weren’t home that night so the surprise didn’t work out to well and she had to call us to inform us that she’d left a tray of dumplings in our mailbox haha. But nonetheless we were still very grateful.
Tonight, both my dad and I were super busy so we opted for something very quick - dumplings. Unfortunately, I am so much of a fail that I didn’t even heat these dumplings properly (five minutes for frozen dumplings, remember that) and as delicious as they may have been, my stomach does not agree at the moment. The filling was beef and cabbage, which is a combination I’ve never tried before. It makes me miss my mom’s cooking. Sigh.

  4. I’ve had a pretty shitty weekend so spending Sunday night with my dad at Ten Ren’s Tea was really great. I’d eaten McDonald’s earlier that day (which made me sick) and wasn’t feeling very hungry, but I ordered a peach green tea and a waffle with strawberries, bananas, and ice cream.  My dad got an actual meal, with green tea and minced pork with egg noodle soup. Yums.
